Expert Answers about Forest River Wildwood LE Travel Trailer

  • Will a 26" Long Trailer Leaf Spring Work to Replace a 25-1/2" Long Trailer Leaf Spring
  • If your existing leaf springs measure 25-1/2" then the correct replacement is likely either 25-1/8" or 25-1/4" as leaf springs stretch over time. Please note, leaf springs should also be measured with the trailer unloaded. I have attached for you below options in both these lengths, you'd just need to filter with your axle capacity. The 4-Leaf Double-Eye Spring for 3,500-lb Trailer Axles part # e54SR is a pretty common replacement measuring 25-1/8".

  • Will a 5-1/2 Long U-Bolt Work With 6 Leaf Springs On a 3,500 Lb Axle
  • The 2-3/8" Round Trailer U-Bolts part # SP01-040 should work with a 6 leaf spring stack. If you add the diameter of the axle which is 2-3/8" with the thickness of the leaf spring stack which is 2-1/4" and the thickness of the tie-down plate which is 3/16" this should still leave you room for enough thread engagement on nuts. The 5-1/2" long u-bolt is the longest we offer for a 2-3/8" diameter axle.

  • Choosing The Correct Solera 12V Power RV Awning Conversion Kit For Forest River RV
  • In order to use Solera 12V Power RV Awning Conversion Kit - Universal - 69" Arms - White # LC434724, you need at least 69" of unobstructed space from the awning rail straight down along the wall for proper operation of the awning, which you do not have this space. You also need a minimum of 2-1/2" between awning rail and the top of the door, which you do have. It sounds like the Solera Smart Arm 12V Power RV Awning Conversion Kit - Programmable - 63" Arms - White # LC759404 would better...

  • Is The PD4655V A Compatible Replacement For A Parallax 7355 Converter Section
  • The Progressive Dynamics Replacement Section # PD4655V would be a compatible replacement for your Parallax 7355, but it would require that you replace the current DC distribution panel with the new one included in the kit. To make the unit compatible with a lithium battery bank you'll just need to switch the black jumper from the 'WIZ' position to the 'LI' position.

  • 15k BTU Rated AC Replacement Recommendation for 2004 Wildwood 30 BHHS Travel Trailer
  • Hey William, so the Advent Air AC unit part # ADV64FR would be a solid 15k BTU rated replaced for your setup. It is designed for ducted applications like you'd need as well. This also will wire right up to Advent and Dometic setups but if you have a Coleman kit currently you'd want the part # ACCOLKIT or the Carrier part # ACCARKIT to give you ability to have a plug and play wiring install.

  • Plugged In Electric Fireplace And Lost Power To Two Axle Wildwood Trailer
  • It sounds to me like you may have overloaded your trailer's circuit by plugging those two heaters in at the same time. What I recommend you do is install a 30 amp circuit breaker like # PK54230. This will protect your trailer's electrical circuits from situations like that happening again. A couple good "rule of thumb" suggestions is to plug appliances directly into outlets, not extensions cords. Extension cords add receptacles to plug into but do not change the amount of power being received...

  • Self Adjusting Brake Assemblies for 3.5K Axles on 2008 Forest River Wildwood LE travel Trailer
  • A 3500 lb axle would use a 10 inch brake assembly. For 10 inch self adjusting brake assemblies, I'd recommend part # AKEBRK-35-SA which includes right and left brake assemblies. The mounting hardware is sold separately as part # BRKH10B. You'll also want to examine the armature surface of your brake drums, which is the surface the magnets ride against. If that surface is grooved or pitted, you'll want to replace the hub/drums as well, as the new magnets wouldn't get a good grab on the...

  • Will the 6-Leaf 24-7/8" Long Leaf Springs Be Able To Replace 25-1/4" Leaf Springs
  • As leaf springs wear out over time, they will elongate. Therefore, the correct replacements will likely be shorter in overall length. If you measured 25-1/4" unloaded then a 24-7/8" long leaf spring would likely work well. Therefore, the part # SP-222275 you're looking at will be a direct drop-in replacement. You will be able to reuse your existing shackle straps and equalizers.

  • Are Replacement Pins for Landing Gear Available for My Fifth Wheel Trailer?
  • We do have landing gear pins, like part # LG-119113, but we need to know the model number of the jack you have to know exactly which one fits. If we don't have the correct pin then you can replace the entire leg. We need the model number for this as well. Or we can possibly match it up with the jack's weight capacity and height. Also, make sure the weld stops that match up to the brackets are 15-1/2 inches apart.

  • Will etrailer.com Generator # 333-0003 Have Wattage to Power AC on Travel Trailer
  • The etrailer 3,200-Watt Portable Inverter Generator # 333-0003 that you referenced has wattage capacities that would easily power an AC unit on a travel trailer. This generator is capable of 3,200 watts surge (start up) wattage and 2,900 running watts which is more than enough for RV AC units. 15,000 BTU AC units (the bigger common size) will draw around 2,500 for startup and around 1,000 for running for a frame of reference. I attached a review video for this for you to check out as well.

  • Troubleshooting Low Voltage to Fogatti RV Tankless Water Heater
  • Since your Fogatti RV Tankless Water Heater # LSB44FR is experiencing voltage drop it sounds like you have a bad ground connection somewhere. I recommend checking your grounds and making sure they are secured to a clean, bare-metal surface. Even some paint can cause issues to try checking these connections first. If this doesn't resolve the issue the next step would be having a professional look at your setup. It could be that the unit is defective but having a professional look at the...

  • How are RV Sewer Lines Typically Sealed to Each Other and Can they be Separated
  • RV sewer lines are typically attached using a plastic or solvent weld which can't be separated and the only option is to cut off the entire section that has it and replace what's then missing. There won't be a way to separate the white sealant you have now so you'd be best off just cutting it all off. For ABS solvent then we have the part # A05-0303. I attached a link to a page that has our sewer lines and adapters for more info as well.
